The following degrees are eligible for AideFi, if they are awarded by a public (staatlich) or recognised private (privat, staatlich anerkannt) higher education institution (Universität, Hochschule, Fachhochschule, Kunst- und Musikhochschule):

Degrees eligible for AideFi

1st cycle:

• Bachelor
• Diplom (FH)

2nd cycle:

• Master
• Magister

Integrated cycle:

• Staatsexamen
• Lehramt
• Diplom (Univ.)

3rd cycle:

• Promotion

Some of the above-mentioned degrees may be offered by schools that are not recognised or do not have the status of a "Hochschule". These courses are eligible for AideFi on the condition that a partner institution of higher education officially recognised in Germany awards the degree.
