The following degrees are eligible for AideFi, if they are awarded by an officially recognised higher education institution (Universiteit, Hogeschool, University of applied sciences):

Degrees eligible for AideFi

There are two types of higher education in the Netherlands:

  • higher professional education  (hoger beroepsonderwijs, HBO);
  • research-oriented higher education (wetenschappelijk onderwijs, WO).

Short cycle:

  • Associate degree (120 ECTS)

1st cycle:

  • Bachelor HBO (240 ECTS)
  • Bachelor WO (180 ECTS)

2nd cycle:

  • Master HBO (60-120 ECTS)
  • Master WO (60-180 ECTS)

3rd cycle:

  • Doctoral Studies

Degrees not eligible for AideFi

  • “Pré-Master”
